Want to save library records that you find interesting? Our discovery system makes it easy! You just need to remember to use the thumbnail icon to view and save records.
Start by going to our discovery system and logging into your library account using the "Sign In" link at the top of the page. You must log into the system to save the records to your profile.
Once you are logged in, perform your research as normal. When you come across items that you wish to save to your Favorites, click on the appropriate pushpin on the right side of the enumerated result.
You can also save records from the individual item record view. When you click on a title, it will expand to show you the item details. Click on the thumbnail icon that is located on the top right of the record.
To view your saved records, click on the thumbnail icon on the top navigation bar next to your name. Your favorites profile page will appear with a list of your saved records.
You can organize the saved records using labels. Labels are like tags. You can add labels to each record. You will then be able to sort the records by the labels using the filter options on the right-hand side of the page.
The system also allows you to export records to your favorite citation management tool (e.g. RefWorks), copy a permanent link to the record or email the record. To view these options from the search list, click the ellipsis at the top right of the item record. You can also view the options in the full item record.
